In our lifetime we get to have the privilege of living it to the fullest, for an average person we spend most of our time working. We work so that we may earn, and we earn so we could provide for our needs. It's not easy to work in order to earn, although some people are lucky to have an employment or job with good compensation but with less effort.
But the current condition would open our minds that there is not much of a choice but to work hard in order to survive, the world that we currently live in has become a hostile environment for those who cannot afford to cloth and feed themselves. The reality would show that we don't have a choice but to live now and plan about the future.
Because today, the times have become very difficult as the economy has yet to recover from the setbacks that it experienced recently. In history we would see that physical strength ruled much of the world as it was known. In the present times however, what rules is financial strength.
It always was the survival of the fittest; anyone who gets left behind will have nothing and no one to help with. That is a reality that we have to face, and it is even happening right now. That is the reason why we have to think about how we will live after we get to stop working for earnings.
This means that you have to plan for your retirement, because after that you will not be earning anything and definitely you will be left out as you have no income generating alternative. You may not be fully aware of this predicament because you are still earning, but the point is that retirement is also something that you cannot avoid. And someday you will be run out of time and eventually your finances will be tighter.
Time is gold and time is running out, it is more precious than money our life runs through it and its span is determined by it. The best thing that you can do is to live your life to the fullest. It doesn't necessarily mean that when you think about tomorrow you have to forget living today. The point is while you have the strength, enjoy your life and be wise in spending your earnings.
Because one way or the other we will be taking a rest, you don't have to wait for the age of 60 or 70 to consider yourself retired. There are outgoing people who aims retirement at their 40s or 50s. These are people who want to enjoy life to the fullest. Yes it may sound steep, but not impossible. The key is financial freedom and stability, once you have it you may consider yourself retired.
Your retirement is not limited to the dependence on your retirement plans; you may think out of the box and consider other ventures in generating income for an early retirement. And while at it, brainstorming as to what to do take a break and enjoy life one day at a time. Just make sure that when the time comes you have something to spend for yourself.
